Alexandra Timchula

I work in both pastel ( soft) and in water color, and the works are quite large for the mediums used. Starting at 3 1/2 x 6 feet, and as large as 6 x 8 feet, these pieces are landscape oriented and are about color. The work that I am submitting to this register is of the Bahamas, where I love to come. The work has so much presence that it becomes the wall upon which it is hung, like a window yielding another room you didn't know was there.

The office of Art in Embassies, U.S. Department of State, would like to thank all artists who have submitted and continue to submit work for our consideration. Artists will be contacted directly for possible inclusion in a show.
