About the author

Joomi Chung was born in South Korea; partially grew up in Argentina; and became US citizen in 2007. She received her B.F.A. degree in Painting (1999) and M.F.A. Research Certificate at Hong Ik University in Seoul, South Korea (2000); and M.F.A. at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2004). Currently she is an Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
