Marjorie Forté studied at Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including Cambridge and Somerville Arts Council Grants, an Ella Lyman Cabot Grant and a Hood Literacy Project Grant. Her work is in many private and public collections including the WBUR Group, The Boston Public Library, Meditech and the Crowne Plaza Hotel Group. Ms. Forté's work has been shown in gallery and museum exhibitions throughout the United States. She is represented by Soprafina Gallery, Boston, MA.
