Mat Gasparek grew up in Southeastern Wisconsin. He received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2012 and his MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016. Mathew has shown at Innova Gallery and Borgward Gallery in Milwaukee, WI and Page Bond Gallery in Richmond, VA. He currently lives and works in Richmond, where he is adjunct faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts.
