Theresa was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and her MFA from the New York Academy of Art. Theresa paints a variety of realistic subject matter including still lifes, landscapes, and portraits. She works with oil on canvas.
Starting in 2000 her still life images were reproduced on products that were sold in major retail stores throughout the US. Her images can still be found on a variety of products with online retailers. Her dog portrait painting was a runner up in the Westminster Kennel Club poster contest in 2014.
