Scott Fisk is an award winning graphic designer, artist and educator. Scott’s work has been shown in galleries and museums around the world. Fisk is an avid speaker and conducts talks on the “Power of Design” and “Letterpress Printmaking”. Fisk is currently a Professor and Chair of the Art Department at Samford University. Scott has won numerous awards or honors including 2015 Southeastern College Art Conference (SECAC) Outstanding professional Achievement in Graphic Design Award, The University and College Designers (UCDA) Association “Award of Excellence” and the and the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) Gold Hermes Award. Fisk served in Iraq as an Army Reserve photojournalist in 2005 and 2006, often embedding as a photographer during combat operations with American and Iraqi units. Fisk was also awarded a Bronze Star for service in Iraq. Fisk is actively involved in The Professional Association for Design (AIGA) and has served as Communications Director and Education Chair of the Birmingham AIGA.
