Patricia Lane Evans is an accountant by day, and a local photographer who never leaves home without a camera and a fresh set of batteries.  She loves to capture magical moments in time, an unusual cloud formation, a fleeting sunset, a dragonfly on a nearby flower, or a ship passing by in the harbor.

Her landscapes and seascapes reveal her strong love of the New England Coastline. She spent her childhood summers in Parker River in Newbury,MA, sailing with her family in their restored Cape Cod Cat Boat named “Moby Dick.”   Her family has a long history and solid roots on Cape Ann and Gloucester,
having settled in the town of Lanesville in the 1600’s. A descendent of a long line of sailors, fishermen, sail makers and even a marine artist who lived in Gloucester, Fitz (Hugh) Henry Lane, it is only natural that her love for the ocean shows through in her photos.

She volunteers as a “Conservation Ambassador” at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge (PRNWR) and as a Certified International Chili Society Chili Judge. Proceeds from the chili cook-offs go to charity. She is a musician and plays traditional flutes and Native American wooden flutes. And she is also a proud member of the Pease Greeters, a group of citizens who greet our troops coming and going overseas at Portsmouth International Tradeport.
And she can notarize a document for you as a Notary Public.
