Alexandra Vainshtein

I am a photographer living and working in New York City. I have always been intrigued by black and white photography and have been inspired by scenes as close as my Brooklyn neighborhood and as far away as Europe. I am constantly trying to create unique photographs from familiar scenes in New York City and wherever I travel. Look through my website and share with me the places and people I have seen, frozen in time through my photography.

You may view artists’ submissions by using any field to search the criteria. Please note, artists who have signed up to be included in the registry are not yet participating Art in Embassies artists in an exhibition. The registry acts as a forum for exposure to our internal curators, for possible inclusion in a show. A registry artist will not have an artist card in the main Art in Embassies website section (art.state.gov/artists) until they are included in an exhibition, nor are they searchable in the main search function of the website (art.state.gov).
