Susan Reedy’s work has been exhibited widely including solo and two person exhibitions at Anna Kaplan Contemporary, Buffalo, New York, Hewitt Gallery, New York, New York, Castellani Art Museum, Niagara Falls, New York, OK Harris Gallery, New York, New York, Goldman/Greenfield Gallery, Buffalo, New York, and Alamo Gallery, Buffalo, New York. Additionally her work has been included in group exhibitions including The Highline Lofts, New York, New York, Islip Art Museum, Islip, New York, Pierogi Gallery, New York, New York, Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio, Albright Knox Art Gallery, Buffalo, New York, Butler Institute of American Art, Youngstown, Ohio, Eylot Gallery, Ganei-Tikva, Israel, Therese A. Maloney Gallery, Morristown, New Jersey, Mass MoCA, North Adams, Massachusetts, Anderson Gallery of Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, Massachusetts, and the Firehouse Plaza Art Gallery, Garden City, New Jersey. In 2009, Reedy’s work was selected by curator Luis Camnitzer for inclusion in his project “The Last Book”, which travelled to The University of Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, The New York Public Library Aguilar Branch, New York, New York, The Central Library of Zurich, Switzerland, and The National Library of Argentina, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is affiliated with Anna Kaplan Contemporary, Buffalo, New York, and Pierogi Gallery, New York, New York. Reedy received her MFA in Painting from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has taught all levels of painting and drawing to undergraduates, served on the Roswell Park Alliance Art Committee of the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Institute, and most recently has been an Artist In Residence for SUNY at Buffalo’s Arts in Healthcare Initiative, placed in Oshei Children’s Hospital. Reedy resides and maintains her studio in upstate New York.
