I was born and raised up in Shanghai China, Studied art in Shanghai Fine Art college ,graduated in 1965 .then worked as an member artist in “Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Academy" for 17 years,to create art works for local or national art exhibitions and did commissions art work for nation-wide institutions and organizations.few work had been collected by Beijing national art gallery. I came to United State to pursue graduate study at university of Iowa in 1982 and got MA and MFA degree few years later, from now I live and work in new York,as a professional artist in realistic style of oil painting: portrait, landscape, stile life, and book illustration etc.
