I am a Chinese American artist, born and raised in the Bronx. I have participated in numerous exhibitions, including MOMA at P.S. 1, NYU Washington Square Windows, the Bronx Museum, Artist Space, the New Museum, and the Basement Workshop. I received a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and The Bronx Museum's Artist in the Marketplace grant. I had art residencies at the MacDowell Colony, Alpha Hills paper-making in Japan, and Mass MoCa. My work is in CUNY’s Shepherd Hall (through the Percent for Art program), the Pfizer collection, and many private collections.
My interest in cultural anthropology influences my work, especially how there are crossovers in cultures.
