Anna describes herself as a lifelong "rockaholic", and brings the passion, along with the essences of both her Native American and Celtic heritage, to her highly distinctive beadwork artistry. she has been beading since childhood, learning the art from her grandfather who was a Native American of the Blackfoot tribe. Using a single needle and tiny beads, she explores the characteristics and pushes the possibilities of basic stitch structures. Each piece leads to new"what it?" moments. Having discovered woodturning a few years ago, she is now able to capture space and light in a three-dimensional and innovative textural form.
