Anna Kell (b. 1983; Columbus, IN) received her BFA from Miami University and her MFA from the University of Florida. Her paintings and installations, typically made from domestic cast-offs that she finds and collects, have been featured in exhibitions nationally and internationally. She has attended numerous artist’s residency programs and in 2014 was awarded a six-month fellowship at Triangle Arts in Brooklyn. In 2011, Kell was awarded the Individual Artist’s Fellowship from the State of Tennessee. Her work is in several private collections, including the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. She is currently Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Bucknell University (Lewisburg, PA), where she teaches painting, drawing, and interdisciplinary courses.
