Artist JoAnne Hungate grew up in the Pacific Northwest and now resides in Tucson, AZ. Her work is in many public spaces and residences in the Boston, MA area, as well as many other parts of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, and now at the U. S. Embassy in Moldova. Her basic technique uses watermedia on paper and on canvas including some metal assemblage. Hungate says her artwork depicts her impressions and interpretations of moods and rhythms, offering her vision of a unique fusion of movement, color, and innovation.
