I am a visual artist whose typical choice of mediums are acrylic and graphite. The basic themes of my work are realism and perspective pieces with socially unifying commentary. My goal is to encourage an art everywhere movement. I believe that art exists to build communities, unite diverse groups of people and to foster on-going expressive dialog. It exists to orchestrate understanding, acceptance, and compassion. Art exist as a vessel for life’s expressions.

As a Grand Rapids, MI. based artrepreneur, I has been creating visual works of art for over 20 years. Again, my typical mediums of choice are graphite and acrylic paint. With those mediums, I explore the idea of solitude by usually painting just one lone subject with ample negative space. I attempt to express ideas and comment on the social realities of the day through the contorted body language of the subject. He employs a realistic style of art to render the subject, their seclusion, and their emotions as truthfully as possible. My recent evolution as an artist has also led him to create dramatic geometric paintings. I use the shapes and lines in my geometric visuals to push one's own perspective and to consider the perspective of others. I currently work as the Business Manager with ArtXchange Grand Rapids (artxchangegr).
