Betsy is a native to Washington and a current glass artist in Washington, DC. She graduated in 1975 with a degree in art education from the University of South Carolina. In 2007, she took an introductory glass class that changed her world forever. Her work ranges from fragile to strong, ironic to whimsical. She has been accepted into juried art shows, and exhibited at local and eastern shore galleries. Betsy has received a number of awards for her work, which also has been featured publicly. Her work is currently on display at National Airport as part of the Artomatic Takes Flight exhibit, and also at Prudential-Carruthers Insurance Co., in Alexandria, VA.
