Elizabeth Brandt grew up in Ohio and received a BFA in Graphic Communications from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit. After a career as an advertising art director and freelance illustrator, she turned to creating abstract sewn constructions in 2010.

Elizabeth has exhibited in regional, national and international exhibitions. She currently lives in Holland, Michigan.
