I’m an art and geography hybrid, having formally studied both fine art and cultural geography – and unable to practice one without the other. I use my mixed-media artwork and installations to interpret places and things marked by time and recast them into contemporary statements. In this way, I try to bring new insight and a fresh perspective to familiar, ordinary, and overlooked elements of the landscape and its history.
