Caroline Dejeneffe (b. 1985) is a French-Canadian artist based in Los Angeles, USA. She has previously lived and practiced in Paris, London, Montréal and Miami before moving to LA three years ago. She has exhibited her work and been involved in festivals in Europe and North America including at Fonderie Darling in Montréal; Centre Pompidou, Paris; and Collect at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. In 2021 she won the Mary Blair Award for Art, which includes a Reed Magazine edition on her work in 2022.



Forthcoming exhibitions include Penumbra, Gallery 825, Los Angeles; On the Move, Dallas Centre for Photography, Dallas; Feminine / Masculine, PH21 Gallery, Budapest; and Your True Color, Withinsight Gallery, Chicago. Over the last year she has exhibited at the New York Center for Photographic Art where she was awarded First Place for her work Blossoming; Shoebox Arts, Los Angeles; Praxis Gallery, Minneapolis; Art Share LA, Los Angeles; and Las Lagunas Art Gallery, Laguna Beach.



Her work was included in the KPMG Show, 2016; she was awarded a production grant and exhibition from Art Souterrain, Montréal, 2013; and she created a suite of large-scale interior installations entitled Optic at the W Hotel for Nuit Blanche Montréal 2012. Her project Cognitive Processes toured between 2012 and 2014 with Ruban Blue.

She has a BA Hons in Fine Arts from the University of Arts - School of Fine Art in Paris, France, including study time at UQAM, Montréal, Canada, 2007.
