I am an accomplished, award winning visual artist. My mediums of choice are pencil, pastel, and oil. I specialize in drawing and painting still life florals and birds who live on or near the water. In addition figurative paintings and portraits of children, adults and pets,

I teach drawing and painting to adults and children ages 7 to 16 and conduct international painting tours to Italy, France and Ireland.

I am honored to be a juried member of the MD Society of Portrait Painters, Maryland Pastel Society, and a copyist at the National Gallery of Art along with memberships in national painting organizations.

I have won numerous awards for my pastel and oil paintings and received grants from the Maryland State Arts Council, Anne Arundel Arts Council and the Montgomery County Arts and Humanities Council.
