Celine Frers was born in Buenos Aires in 1982. She studied cinematography at the Universidad del
Cine in Buenos Aires (F.U.C) and at the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP). She lived a few
years in United States where she worked as a photographer and ski instructor, and later carried out
different photographic projects in Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zeland. Upon her return to Argentina,
she resumed her work in commercials and cinematography until she published her first book, "Colors of
Corrientes", in 2008. Since then she has completely devoted herself to still photography. Later came
“Cielos Patagonicos”, and “Land of Gauchos”. Celine has done exhibitions
in Europe, the United States, and Latin America. Among other projects, she is currently traveling to the
most secluded places to gather material for her upcoming books and Fine art collection.
