Anthony H. Cisneros, founder/owner of Cisneros Arts, Grew up in the world of the Claremont Colleges in Southern California. Raised by artist/educator parents, Tony's imagination was ignited at a young age. He studied ceramics at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. His music muse took center stage while he toured internationally as guitar tech and front of house sound engineer with David Lindley and Ry Cooder. After retiring from the road, Tony served as lighting designer and stage manager at FoxSports in Los Angeles, and Bridges Auditorium in Claremont, CA. A member of New Mexico IATSE Local 480, Tony worked in lighting electrics on films including Brothers, Cirque du Freak: The Vampires Apprentice, Beer for My Horses, Terminator Salvation, and The Spy Next Door.

In 2005 he began creating metal, wood and glass functional sculpture. Moving to New Mexico in 2006, Tony returned to his first loves ceramics and steel. Together and individually he explores a wide range of techniques creating functional and decorative works of art. Tony won best in category (ceramics) at the 2009 Taos Fall Arts Festival Open and was invited to show at the 2011 Taos Fall Arts Select. In 2012 he received a commission for 30 pieces to be given as awards at the Governor’s Conference on New Mexico Tourism.
