Domenica Brockman (b.1968, Pittsfield, MA) works in encaustic and painted collage, using abstraction and the formality of geometry as a framework to create a visualization of the non physical. Domenica earned a BFA from Cornell University, and a post baccalaureate degree from School of Visual Arts. She has participated in many solo and two person shows in places such as the Southern Vermont Arts Center, Manchester, VT, the Yellow Studio Gallery in Cross River, NY, Corners Gallery, Ithaca, NY, and the Gallery at East Hill in Ithaca, NY. Domenica is co-founder of the Cayuga Arts Collective, a non-profit for artists in the Finger Lakes Region. Her work can be found in private and public collections all over the world.
