Drew Ippoliti is a graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He holds an MFA (Master’s of Fine Arts) in ceramics and is currently writing a Ph.D in Experimental Chinese Ceramics under Clare Twomey at the University of Westminster in London, England. In 2009 Ippoliti was awarded a US Department of State, J William Fulbright Fellowship to China where he worked with archeologists and artists in Western China’s premier Cultural Relics Museum. Located inside of Xi’an Jiao Tong University the museum holds a vast historical ceramics collection dating as back 5000 years.
