Emilee Yawn is an artist living and work in San Francisco. She was born in 1977. She is a self-taught artist with a B.A. in Architecture from Massachusetts College of Art. Her work draws from both 2d- and 3d non-traditional materials and practices and inspirations from the intersection of urban environment and the conceptual language we use to explain it. She worked for Martha Schwartz a leader in contemporary public landscapes and is considered one of the top landscape architects of all time. She was shortlisted and a finalist for ShiftBoston and Designboom’s Rethinking the parking space. She has had work displayed at the ICA Boston and exhibits locally throughout San Francisco Bay Area.
