I have been an artist since I could first hold a crayon. My mother was an art major and I grew up in a creative environment full of music, writing and visual art. I graduated high school voted most artistic and pursued an education at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After spending ten years in the printing industry I left to pursue a career as a full time working artist. My studio work primarily consists of watercolors on various surfaces but mostly Yupo. My other interests, (history, nature, psychology and music), find their ways into my work. Complimenting the more traditional studio art work is my work as a muralist. Painting murals gives me the opportunity to express myself and create on a much larger scale than I can achieve in studio. In September of 2015 I was juried into the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society.
