Entirely self-taught, Jeffrey has been involved with photography since his early teens. The son of an American soldier and English immigrant, Jeffrey was born in the United Kingdom in the early 1960s, and it was through the encouragement of a family member where he began pursuing his dream.

In 2005 he opened Grandkin Studios, specializing in Fine Art and Nature Photography, and his collections have been sold to magazine editors, books publishers and art collectors across the globe.
