I work mainly with watercolor and acrylic on paper and canvas, sometimes using both mediums in one piece.
My goal is to create work that reflects beauty. This can be inspired by nature or by images of everyday life. Treasure what is around you and find the beauty in it. Besides that, the capturing of light and a mood is greatly influential on my work.
Even though I studied to be an art teacher, mostly in 3D art of sculpting, creating was not part of my life for a long time. After a lifetime of working in the corporate world and going through some life changing events, I now have found time and head space to create and inspire. It feels in some ways like I am catching up to whom God has created me to be, but this is the right timing and place.
