Jamie Spinello was born in Lafayette, LA and grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. Her creations are inspired by her time growing up in the South exploring the swamps and marshes. She creates sculptures and wearable art that celebrate the geometric and structural beauty of plants and insects. She has exhibited in multiple national exhibits in CA, TX, MS and LA and is part of the permanent collection of the Houston International Airport.
