Katherine Grossfeld received her Master of Fine Arts Degree and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from The University of Denver, with studies at Studio Art Centers International, Florence, Italy. Grossfeld taught Life Drawing at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and served on critique panels for undergraduates.

In addition to being a proud member of the U.S. Department of State's Art in Embassies program, Grossfeld is an Elected Member of The Salmagundi Club, NYC, an Associate Member of Oil Painters of America, American Artists Professional League and the International Guild of Realism, among other professional organizations.

Grossfeld exhibits nationally and internationally. Her work is held in corporate and private collections. She lives in North Carolina.
