Kristina Bilonick is a native Washingtonian who implements a wide variety of mediums to create coming-of-age stories that are loosely based on her personal history. Since earning a bachelor of arts from the University of New Hampshire in 1999, the artist has been practicing art and working as an arts administrator and independent curator. In 2010, she founded Pleasant Plains Workshop - a shared printmaking studio, residency program, project space, and shop that supports local artists (http//pleasantplainsworkshop.com).

Bilonick has shown her work nationally in spaces including Transformer (DC), Gallaudet University (DC), Community College of Baltimore County (MD), and Butcher's Daughter (MI), and has curated exhibitions at DC Arts Center (DC), Civilian Arts Center (DC), and Arlington Arts Center (VA).
