Lisa Qualls uses a range of media from graphite to dyed and printed textiles and video. She is currently working with figurative images and focusing on themes about identity and culture. Lisa received her BFA and BA from the University of Texas at Austin. She continued her studies in Fine Art at Parsons and FIT in New York, NY and CISIM in Ravenna, Italy. Her work is represented by Avis Frank Gallery in Houston, TX, Baton Rouge Gallery in Baton Rouge, LA and Galerie Philippe Gelot in Paris, FR. She resides in Houston, TX with her husband and three dogs.
