Artistic Statement
I am a self- taught artist from both the Chicagoland area and Gainesville, Florida. I work predominately in black and white oil to create figurative paintings and portraiture.

I rely almost exclusively on the simple, contrasting dynamics of black and white, which enables me to concentrate on light, form and texture in order to capture and convey the complexity and depth of the subject.
