Madeleine was born in Chicago, and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She studied Art History and Studio Art at Boston College, and received her MFA from the New York Academy of Art. She has participated in several group shows in New York, Chicago and Detroit.

Her paintings explore the possibilities of the traditional painting materials -- oil paint on linen, while her abstract painting language reflects the freedom present in contemporary painting.
