Marta Ali is an award winning designer, entrepreneur, and advocate. As a Creative Director of a design & consultation firm, she has been helping clients that operate in diverse sectors including: Construction, Government, Education, Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism. Marta is passionate about  creating multidisciplinary projects by integrating creative ideas, winning strategies, advanced technologies, and leadership skills to help her clients succeed and thrive. Due to her past performances, she have been able to secure awards and strategic partnerships from great organizations like Clark Construction Group.

Marta Ali is a graduate of The Catholic University of America where she received a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning and inducted in the Grand Chapter of Tau Sigma Delta: Honor Society in Architecture and Allied Arts . Prior to starting her design company , Marta Ali also worked as an architectural designer for prominent design firms and acquired professional experiences in designing large scale Commercial facilities, public institutions, urban developments, and Entertainment Complexes. 

Marta Ali received her first art award from the most celebrated artist World Laureate, the late Honorable Maitre Artiste Afewerk Tekle when she was 12. Ms. Ali continued to be recognized for her ability to create captivating design projects, and honored by various organizations such as Tau Sigma Delta, which is the honor society of architecture and allied arts. She also received awards for design competitions, and exclusive publication opportunities from the schools she attended. In 2005, Marta Ali received an honorary leadership award from SEED, Society of Ethiopians Established in Diaspora, for exhibiting excellence in academics and community services. Recently, Marta was also recognized for providing invaluable services to the Diaspora community on the occasion of the 9th Annual Afro-American and Ethiopian Heritage and Unity Celebration of the 2013 Black History Month and in 2014 became designated Cultural Ambassador for Africa / Ethiopia.

Because of her advocacy work, at the end of  2014, Marta Ali was selected to be the founding committee of Ethiopian International Food Day project that was organized to introduce 47,000 D.C. Public Students to Ethiopian Culture and Exotic Cuisine. On this project, The District of Columbia Public School Global Education Team, the Office of Food and Nutrition Services, the Office of the Secretary, the Ethiopian Community in Washington, D.C. , and the executive office of the Mayor of D.C.  have worked in partnership to encourage D.C. students to expand their global awareness by engaging in supplemental cultural and educational activities. Ethiopian International Food Day honors the sister City relationship between Washington, D.C. and Addis Ababa, the capital cities of the United States and Ethiopia, respectively; During the ceremony D.C. Mayor proclaimed JUNE 4TH 2015  in Washington , DC, as “ ETHIOPIAN INTERNATIONAL FOOD DAY “

Also in 2014, Marta Ali competed to attend a highly regarded construction business management fellowship program organized by a leading General Contractor in U.S.A. called Clark Construction Group in association with Tuck School of Business. During the fellowship studied extensive construction management and business leadership courses. At the end of the extensive program competed with 19 other construction businesses in D.C. area where she led her team to win first place and received the Capstone award from Executives of Clark Construction in June 2015. During the award ceremony, Presidents of Regional General Contracting Services in D.C. & Maryland area gave key note speeches and acknowledged the extraordinary effort put forth by all businesses who participated during the program. 

   Currently, Marta Ali is working as a creative director at  MAXIVA-FX, where she dedicates her time designing creative projects and establishing initiatives that can help communities to succeed and thrive.
