Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, I received my BFA in Fine Art at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. 3 months after graduating I co-founded Engine 22 Studios in downtown Cincinnati, an artist’s space with 12 individual studios, which I rehabbed and managed. In the span of 2 and a half years I participated in 23 group shows, 3 auctions, 7 publications and was invited back to the AAC as a guest speaker to the senior class. In 2005 I began my Masters Degree courses at Maryland Institute College of Art and graduated with a degree in painting on May 14th, 2007. I currently live and work as an art handler in Washington, DC. Since receiving my MFA I have participated in group shows in DC, VA, and Baltimore, as well as the Bambi Biennial in Philadelphia.
