Minaa Haroon is a Lahore-based contemporary visual artist and curator. She has exhibited her work globally, including at the Biennale in Collegium Novum, Orsha, Belarus; Suzhou University Museum, China; Pakistan Embassy, Budapest, Hungary; Antidote, Dubai; and various galleries in Karachi and Islamabad including Koel Gallery, ArtChowk Gallery, Satrang Gallery, Sanat Initiative and Khaas Gallery.
In addition to her artistic practice, Minaa serves as Assistant Director (Fine Arts) at the Lahore Arts Council, Government of Punjab, where she has curated numerous exhibitions at Alhamra Art Gallery, including the Young Artists' Exhibition and Alhamra National Exhibition. Her international curatorial expertise extends to exhibitions at the Museum of Sociology and Anthropology, Thammasat University, Thailand, and the Queen Sirikit Convention Center, Thailand. Her expertise extends to conducting art workshops, judging competitions, and organizing festivals.
Minaa's recent engagements include training for the Arts through Social Change Residency (2023), supported by the U.S. Mission, and participating in the Cultural Preservation Professional Exchange Program (2024) in the United States. Her notable accolades include the Sir Percy Award, the Young Artist Award (2012), and the People's Choice Award at RedArtBox in Los Angeles.
