Martha Pinkard-Williams has a B.F.A. in printmaking from the University of Colorado, and an M.F.A.,
with distinction in painting from California College of Arts, Oakland, California. A third generation
Coloradoan, Martha’s work is informed by her love of nature and her innate color sensibility.
Her work is in collections in the US and Europe. Also a muralist of note with many mural projects to her credit. she was awarded the half city block Brunetti Lofts Mural Project at Twenty-sixth and Larimer in Denver, Colorado in 2010, which transformed a bleek concrete courtyard into a play space for this United Way and Volunteers of America transitional residence for families.
The illustration professor at Metropolitan State College until last year, she loves to share her commitment and passion for the arts and give back to her community through teaching, lecturing and her art practice.
