I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia and at the age of 26, fell in love with art. At 29, I spent three months abroad in Africa. Throughout my travels in South Africa, where I worked with artists living in the townships of Khayelitsha (outside of Cape Town) and Soweto, I used my camera to tell the stories of the citizens of the "Rainbow Nation". I continue to work on photographs that blur the line between fine art and photojournalism. This is my love and my passion.
