Regina Valluzzi's main focus is is on Science-inspired abstract and abstracted drawing and painting. She has had a long fascination with the various ways that many tiny, seemingly random units, coalesce into statistically ordered structures. Some of this fascination makes its way into her representational landscape painting. In many of Valluzzi's landscapes, tiny seemingly random strokes of color and paint appear to almost assemble themselves into richly patterned and textured scenes. The effect is soft and classic yet very contemporary at the same time, with levels and layers of detail to fascinate the eye for years.
