Nicole Lenzi's interest in nontraditional drawing began in an undergraduate course called Experimental Drawing. Recent works, Time Lines, explore how drawing, time and thought can affect and redevelop each other. Eastern philosophy, in particular the principles of Taoism, serve as a guide to propel works forward. She earned B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
She has exhibited in the Mid Atlantic and nationally with recent solo shows at Vis Arts in Rockville, MD and John Fonda Gallery at Theatre Project in Baltimore, MD.
