Raised in nature-rich Hokkaido of Northern Japan and surrounded by people from various cultures, Noah began his fashion studies at 13 with a local dressmaker. Inspired and influenced by famous haute couture designers, he left for Paris in 2013 to pursue further training. His introduction to embroidery was through local Ainu embroiderers in Hokkaido, and would later fall under the spell of haute couture embroidery and its expressive versatility. In addition to clothing, Noah’s repertoire includes accessories and wall pieces for which he has received high honors. In 2020, he won the Grand Prize/ Prime Minister Award for AJC (Arts Japan Crafts) Creators Contest. His work has been exhibited in Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, and Paris.
