I reside in scenic Ouray County nestled in the Cimarron and San Juan ranges of the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Upon retiring from occupations in microbiology, health care, and software development and surviving cancer treatment, I devoted myself to further developing my life-long interest in art. My colored pencil drawings and water color paintings capture still life, landscapes, and the alluring adventure to be found throughout the 4 Corners USA and the Southwest USA.
I was recently invited to join the organization, Women Artists of the West. I am also a member of the Western Colorado Watercolor Society, Montrose Visual Arts Guild, The Art Center in Grand Junction and Ouray County Arts Association. I've been a consistent winner, 1st and 2nd places in Montrose Visual Arts Guild Annual Show, as well as a consistent winner, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the Artists' Alpine Holiday annual juried art show, Ouray, Colorado. I was juried into Women Artists of the West, 2014, and was juried into Colored Pencil Society of America's Annual National Show, 2003. I was juried into the Rockies West National Watercolor Exhibition, 2015
