Pat Benincasa is an award-winning sculptor whose passion for geometry is expressed in multi-faceted ways through her dimensional glass sculptures, paintings and drawings. She currently teaches at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her major works include:
• Percent For Art Awarded Commission for her 7-ton, glass and steel, Falling Water Skylight in the Minnesota Judicial Center on the State Capitol Grounds
• General Services Administration Art In Architecture Commission of her glass, steel and limestone rock sculpture: Moon Boat & Night Sky Glass at the Ward Parkway Federal Building in Kansas City, Missouri
• 3D sacred window for the Hill-Murray Chapel in Maplewood, Minnesota.

She received her MFA and MA from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. She has guest lectured at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, University of Minnesota School of Architecture, Hamline University, St. Catherine University and taught a 6 week class; Public Art: Redefining Art, Artist and Spectator at the Walker Art Center.
Her works are in collections in the Boston Public Library, GSA Kansas City, MO., New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Texas. She is included in the Regional Women’s Archive at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. Her work has received international recognition.
Ms. Benincasa is a spirited lecturer as evidenced in her talk for the American Institute of Architects titled: Windows Like the Earth Were Once Thought To Be Flat.
