After studying video / photo production at the Fine Arts Academy in Liège (Belgium) and film editing at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Louvain-La-Neuve, I settled, live and work in Brussels (Belgium). My photography practice began during my studies in Liège. A few years later, after working as a film editor, I toured as a percussionist & drummer on French singer Dominique A’s tour, "La Mémoire Neuve", for two years.
As my dj career took off, I created and managed, for seven years, one of the first concept store dedicated exclusively to Belgian creators and artists, Septante Sept.
Photography has always kept a prominent place in my life. Through this art, I try to print the stories suggested to me by the moments stolen from the people I shoot.
I have always been passionate about series, collections. I harvest moments, slices of life. But also numbers, objects, characters, shapes. They become in their own way playlists like the ones I make as a dj. I love to collect things and then categorize for hours, in search of the perfect arrangement to end with the pleasure of sharing them afterwards. Recently, I’ve been working on outdoor installations and parcours including pictures and lights. Starting from a bigger perspective, I invite the spectators to come closer and discover the details and hidden stories. It’s also a good way for me to bring some colors and light in the life of everyday people.
The almost daily observation of my environment also leads me to explore its details and cracks. So many sources of stories to tell.
