Starting out as a photographer, I've always enjoyed the process of capturing fleeting moments. My interest in digital art began later when technology grew and opened a fascinating new medium that begged to be explored. Now my love of traditional photography and digital art come together to create my pieces.
Inspiration comes from many directions. It could be a small figurine on the studio shelf yearning to tell an unexpected story or a daughter casually asking for the explanation to global warming at the dinner table.
I prefer to include unusual subjects and odd relationships in my work. Sometimes it’s a cat with a canary companion or an elephant who needs a little help jogging his memory. But whatever the subject, the best part of the process, for me, is peering through that little window into their world when the piece is finally finished.
