Sal Sidner was born in the UK,became an American citizen and is based in Miami, Florida. She received her undergraduate training in Fine Art and Printmaking from the West of England College of Art, and ED.S and M.Ed degrees from the University of Florida. She also studied in the summer Masters program in Venice with New York University, at the Scuola Lorenzo d'Medici, Il Bisonte printshop and the Academia(Scuola del Nudo), in Florence, Italy. She is a frequent prizewinning participant in plein air competitions in Italy, Spain, and the United States. 2010 exhibitions include the Municipal Art Gallery, Assisi, Italy, St. Lawrence Gallery, Artists Haven Gallery, Artserve, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Her work has also been shown at the Museum of the Society of Illustrators, NYC, The Latin Culture Center, Miami,Trinity Cathedral, Miami,Burgos Cathedral, Spain,The Cornell Museum, delray Beach, Florida, and many private galleries. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, and Dade Art Educators.
