My name is Samah El Hage, I’m a Swedish-based artist and photographer, originally from Lebanon.
Art has been a keen interest since childhood. An interest which turned into a big passion and everything in-between.

My road into art and photography took root during my years at school and spare time, with late nights spent teaching myself different paint techniques. I never went to any art school, I believe in learn by doing.

My work is colorful as well as dark, shifting from feeling to feeling. I find my inspiration in my daily life where I pay attention to every single detail around me. Everything from cigarettes, shoes, hats, feelings, sadness in people’s eyes, a gesture to a face.
