Sara Vanderbeek (b. 1980 St. Louis, MO) is an Austin-based Artist, Art Consultant, Estate Manager and Curator. She earned a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2003.

Vanderbeek has participated in a residency at Anderson Ranch in Colorado. She was a Specialist in the Print Department at Christie's Auction House (New York.) There she was selected as a visiting scholar grantee to travel to Japan where she spent three weeks researching Japanese printmaking history.

Her artwork has been included in several solo and group shows nationally, most notably at the McNay Art Museum (San Antonio), The Contemporary (Austin), Blue Star Contemporary Art Museum (San Antonio) as part of the 2013 Texas Biennial, Women & Their Work (Austin), Big Medium (Austin), G Gallery (Houston) and Christie's Auction House (New York). She has been commissioned to paint dozens of portraits which are in several private collections in Austin, San Antonio and Houston, Texas; New York, Colorado, Missouri, California, Oregon, Seattle, New Mexico and Hawaii. She has also completed several Public Art commissions.

From 2010-5, she was an Art Consultant and Budget manager for Salud-Arte, a $7M Public Art Program at University Health System (San Antonio). From 2015-present, she has been managing the sales a private collection of thousands of screenprints. She is also currently the consultant for a $38K public artwork for a new building at 801 Barton Springs Road (Austin).

In 2015, she was a founding member of the Austin-based ICOSA Collective where she serves as Co-Treasurer.
