Andrew graduated in Digital Arts at the University of Oregon, where he was exposed to contemporary theory and acquired a diligent work ethic. He also studied for one summer in Italy, where he learned the value of historic artistic processes. Drawing inspiration from artists and philosophers deeply rooted to contemporary theory and practice, Andrew’s work attempts to expose the individual among the masses in a consumer targeted and driven culture. Using his thoughtful perspective, Andrew joins memory and desire to become more aware of the present, and highlight the delicate tensions of duality and false dichotomies.
